Right of Withdrawal

§ 7 Withdrawal Instructions

If you are a customer within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB), i.e., you make the purchase for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed professional activities, you have the right of withdrawal under the following conditions.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

 

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged fees for such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us or to [if applicable, name and address of the person authorized to receive the goods] without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

We bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any diminished value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling the goods beyond what is necessary to check their condition, properties, and functioning.
